I was assigned to work on various segments of the product creation for the Smylean project, an all-in-one metabolic system tailored to customer needs that reduces body weight and improves overall health. The product includes different food supplements, motivation cards, a record book, and other props, as well as a mobile app with progress tracking features and guidelines for better results.
Under a pre-defined design system, my responsibilities included designing the record book, which serves as a diary/addition to the app. This included layout, icons, and preparing the designs for printing. I also worked on the packaging design for the whole product, which included a complex box carrying all of the Smylean products such as supplements, measure tapes, Recordbook, and motivational cards (called Click Cards).
Additionally, I collaborated with a growth hacking team of mathematicians and data experts to create and optimize the user journey on the website as well as the website’s UI. We also worked on creating and optimizing campaigns, Google and Facebook ads, and social media content. Overall, my goal was to create cohesive and compelling visual elements that effectively represent the product and its capabilities.
This project gave me a thorough understanding of product creation by working on various aspects of the process, including working with a dynamic and remote team, participating in hackathons and meetings at the product factory where we shared knowledge and collaborated to create effective solutions. My hands-on experience in various segments of the product helped me to develop a deeper understanding of the entire product creation process.
