Croatian Mint Branding

Croatian Mint is a state-owned enterprise that produces coinage and other metal products, whose visual identity I created for the brand was based on a geometric shapes pattern, created by breaking down and assembling shapes derived from the main logo. Each shape has a specific meaning, such as the two semicircles that represent a scale, and the square that represents the rectangle in the Croatian crest, or the circle that represents coins.

One of the key features of this visual identity is its flexibility. The pattern can easily be adapted for different purposes and occasions by adding new elements to the pattern. This is made possible by the use of a grid, which helps to ensure that everything fits together seamlessly.

Croatian Mint’s visual identity was inspired by the company’s logo, which was created by another design studio. My job was to create a new visual identity system for which I choose geometric shapes and a flexible pattern to create a cohesive brand identity.

In addition to creating the visual identity, I also worked on a range of other materials for Croatian Mint, including print promotional materials, packaging design, website UI/UX, product lifestyle photography, and social media visual identity. It was a pleasure to contribute to the success of this brand and help to create a cohesive and memorable visual identity.
